
Jim Warner is a financial educator who has been helping people make smart decisions with their investments and insurance since 1983. The skills he developed as a college professor following graduate school have been used to present on topics including retirement planning, social security maximization, estate planning, business continuation planning and insurance modeling in continuing education programs at business leadership conferences, libraries and community centers.
Jim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner. To become a CFP® professional, he successfully completed a comprehensive course of study culminating in a 10-hour, two-day test proving his expertise in financial planning, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment managing, and asset protection. Another important designation that Jim holds include a Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU). Each of these designations require extensive study and mastery of economics, finance, government, and employee benefits. Each program presents advanced applications of insurance, investments, taxation, estate planning, and comprehensive financial planning. Jim is also a former President of The Society for Financial Services Professionals and a former President of The Chamber of Commerce.
Jim and his wife Connie love to travel, photograph, and sample new restaurants. Jim makes his own wine and is an accomplished chef. He enjoys nature by exercising and playing golf, and playing with his twin grandchildren!
